    Question

Has there ever been a study regarding human health and the many frequencies in the air (Wi-fi, radio, cellular, etc.)? I thought I remembered a study (a while ago) which linked waves with cancer. Now that our world is even more filled with "air information" should we be concerned?

Thanks for your question and your interest in Tech Talk.

The effects of radio waves on humans is not really our area of expertise and we have no informed medical information about that subject.

We did make some inquires around our staff and some opinions here are that devices that use these waves are very very low power. It is mostly thought that you need lots more power to do damage that is measurable. There are lots of everyday items that use these frequencies, cordless phones, baby monitors etc. The older analog cell phones used a whole lot more power. This discussion has been around for a long time, mostly about cell phones. There are reports of studies that claim to find links. We have not read them.

To get better information on this subject, you may wish to do a search on the Internet under "effects of radio frequencies on human health."
