Question
I just viewed your marvelous episode on GPS. ÝThanks for the clear explanation. ÝI use a Macintosh computer and
know that a while back most GPS was PC proprietary. Is there any software available for my Mac now?

Lars,
Thanks for your interest in Tech Talk. ÝWe sent your question to our guest Blake Krone. ÝHere is his response:
"Unfortunately
software for Apple computers is still limited to few or none. Here is a link to a page I found while using Google -- searching for "mac gps navigation". Ý
http://www.rayming.com/Mac.asp
They have a few software packages listed there that could be used for
navigation purposes. With most of the Mac applications they won't do automatic routing like the
CoPilot software will. You will most likely find software that simply shows your position on a map which
could be useful to some."
Thanks for watching the show.
Sincerely,
Tech Talk Staff
