Host Susan McKinnell
Susan McKinnell says the best part of her job as "Tech Talk's" host is keeping viewers current about technology. She has hosted "Tech Talk" since its inception in 2003. During that time she has interviewed more than 100 experts from both the University of Minnesota and the community at large in fields as diverse as intelligent transportation systems and robotics. Susan also works at the University of Minnesota's Academic and Distributed Computing Services, where she teaches computer classes, answers the University's technology helpline, and provides computer support.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota in art history, Susan is married to a theater artist and co-founder of Skewed Visions. Susan and her husband have two sons, eight and two years old; regular viewers of "Tech Talk" may remember from cameo appearances on the show. Susan lives in Minneapolis with her family and a Redbone coonhound named Jameson.
